Major renovations were made in 2019, which included expansion of the deck and replacing the metal galvelume roof over the pickled pine tongue and groove cathedral pressure treated beamed roof. In addition to new furniture, the upstairs deck was extended and covered. The bathroom/shower area was remodeled and new tile flooring was installed on both levels.

Beautiful rock retaining walls and stone patio features were added, combined with colorful and picturesques landscape and a watering system to help enhance the tropical garden surroundings.

The villa operates on a shared septic system with two neighboring villas and receives electric utilities, including backup generator, from its membership in the Long Bay Villa Association.

Anyone staying in the villa will enjoy listening to the soothing sounds of the “whoosh” of the surf below while lounging on the various viewing decks or casually taking a quick stroll down to the mesmerizing white sandy Long Bay beach. Long Bay Villa ownership benefits from the numerous amenities currently under renovation at Long Bay Beach Resort. The resort hopes to complete the renovation of the pool, tennis courts, fitness room, conference center and more by this winter. The welcoming restaurant, coffee shop, beachside bar and lounging areas were completely renovated over the past few years and offer a lovely and peaceful retreat when arriving from overseas.
