This uniquely designed hilltop Indigo Plantation Home features three bedrooms, three and a half baths, tropical outside showers and spacious rooms that offer spectacular moonset and sunset views over the undeveloped landscapes of Little Camanoe, Tortola and Guana Islands.

Mature tropical forest trees surround this rambling styled lodge which has proven itself to be engineered to resist even the strongest of hurricane-force winds of Irma in 2017. While other homes lost their roofs and really took a beating, Indigo Plantation House stood unwavering with its amazing concrete and steel structures, its South American hardwoods and heavy gauged galvanized roof.

This breezy ridge top home was designed by architect, John Malick and engineered by Ricky Dawson; who both ensured that the home was built to Florida Dade Country Building Code’s, which nowadays subsequent buyers would treasure when purchasing their retirement Caribbean home.

Lovely breezes continually wind their way through each well-ventilated rooms designed intentionally with large screened windows and doors that help to bring the outside in. Private island living, yet this home is only minutes from the International Airport via a small boat to Trellis Bay, where one can also provision before arriving. The playground for water sports enthusiast speaks for itself and those who love to dine out will find it centrally located with Scrub Island, Marina Cay, Trellis Bay, and East End as dining options because they are all within just a few minutes from the protected Marina.

Big Fans are in most rooms designed to keep the home cool and bug-free, while the master bedroom is air-conditioned.

The boating playground around Great Camonoe is amazing. It’s about a 20-30 minute boat ride to Cooper, The Baths, Anegada, Jost and Norman islands and the Indians for beach bars and snorkeling outings. Kayaks are stored down in the boat basin, along with the snorkel and dive gear. The current owners also offer a Hobie Wave vessel down in the Boat Basin that loves to cruise around the surrounding islands.
